Optimizations were done for the battery consumption and they kind of work but now the app is still unstable when connections get broken.

That is to be expected. Other apps consume data and don't save it to disk, meaning you always need to download them again. This one keeps everything on disk just in case it will be needed and doesn't exist Internet

Geogram drains my battery in 12h, where before i could do more than a day on 1 charge

I will put it in battery restriction again and see if that helps

I've switched to normal phone with 3000 mAh and also noticed that drain. I'm suspecting this happens because it keeps always running on the background without being paused.

To some point this is needed because there are no servers, so visitors to content from a person are expected to directly fetch that content from the user phone. It isn't a problem for phones plugged to USB staying at home but in outdoors is a severe handicap

I guess one option is to introduce a cache mechanism on the station server, so visitors get content from the cache and the user device can then be disconnected from this permanent connection, saving the battery. This would be a user option, so people can decide what fits better for them

I'm using Geogram in a secondary smartphone, not my principal... It drains the battery in 2 days or more (I just use this phone 30 min a day)
