Since this week it has become possible to use another device to run the same geogram account and synch files between them.

As long as you run the same account, you can find these devices as available either on the LAN or the internet through a station server.

When discovered, you can choose what to copy (e.g. blogs, events, places, etc) or setup an automated copy of files on either direction.

These are the early days of implementation, so far the synch is still a bit rough on the edges but we'll eventually get to the point where the synch of files happens automatically and securey across multiple devices. For the now the big advantange is that in case everything in your usual geogram installation is lost, there is still another device running your files and data.

No more clouds. No more hidden servers that by magic keep your data. There is more responsibility: when you lose all your devices, that data is also lost. On the other hand, when the internet is gone so is gone all your access to those memories and data, whereas in geogram your memories continue to stay in your pocket, wherever you are. So is life, make your own choices. We are giving you tools for that.
